Lots of companies have 5 year vesting for pensions. I personally do not think that should apply to public servants, but I dont think its totally unreasonable given how common it is. I'd vote against it, but im not all that upset that its in place today. Every company me or my wife have worked for all have 5 year pensions. We're both cashing in on multiple at this point lol
